This competition is specially designed for beginner technicians competing for the ‘Rising Star’ title. The competition consists of 3 rounds. The top 30% of participants with the fastest times in Round 1 will advance to Round 2. From there, only the top 10% with the best times in Round 2 will proceed to the Final Round.

Round 1: Diagnostic Challenge

• Concept: A written/objective test to assess your troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

• Evaluation: Based on the highest score and the fastest completion time.

• Progression: The top 30% of participants advance to Round 2.

Round 2: Charging Pin Replacement

• Concept: A practical test focusing on your technical skills in replacing a charging pin.

• Evaluation: Judged on speed, effectiveness (functionality), and the neatness of your work.

• Progression: The top 10% of participants from this round will advance to Round 3.

Round 3: Ribbon Jumper (Final Round)

• Concept: The ultimate test of precision and expertise in performing a ribbon jumper.

• Evaluation: Judged on speed, effectiveness, and neatness.

• Winners: The top 3 participants will be crowned the main winners of the Rising Star category.
